Helping others was one of the unique characteristics of the original Acts church. This included sharing food with widows and helping people in need (see Acts 2:42-47 and Acts 4:32-37). This commitment to service resulted in tremendous growth of the church.
The reason why the original Acts church was so committed to service was because they were following the example of Jesus, whose whole ministry was devoted to service (see Mark 10:45 and Luke 4:16-21). Since the ACTS Church has also chosen to follow Jesus, we are committed to service too!
The ACTS Church has learned about some specific needs of students at Curtin University, and we are serving the students through the following projects:
If you need help, or know if anyone at Curtin who does need help, please contact us so that we can provide the support that you need.
